MHS French Club members are planning a trip to Austin to visit the Bob Bullock Museum to learn more about the role France played in Texas' history. We will watch the movie "Shipwrecked" which details the ill-fated journey of the ship "La Belle" and then visit the exhibit to see the shipped raised from the coast of Texas along with many artifacts. We will end our trip with a visit to a Crêperie to enjoy some delicious crêpes!
To pay for their trip students will be selling discount cards. See any French Club member to purchase a restaurant/local business discount card.
Parents wishing to participate in the $40 BUY OUT option should send the BUY OUT fee to school with their student. Students can deposit this at the receipts window.
This year it will be possible for a student to combine selling the discount cards with the BUY OUT option. For each card sold the student will earn $10. So, for example, if a student sells 2 discount cards they should bring an extra $20 to cover the remaining balance. Both amounts must be paid at the same time.
It is also possible to donate directly to support the French Club. Just click the GIVE button on this page. Please check "donation in honor of" box and list the name of the student receiving credit for this donation.
Donations to the French Club from relatives and friends are tax-deductable.
