LEGO Education LearnToLearn is an educational tool that helps elementary school students achieve curriculum goals within Design and Engineering, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies while also building and reinforcing the most fundamental learning skills of the 21st Century:  Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving.  LEGO Education solutions combine specially selected LEGO bricks with learning activities designed by education experts and are ideal for hands-on learning.  All of the solutions require students to experiment with tangible models - building memorable, curriculum-related knowledge as they construct solutions to carefully formulated challenges.  

Several Blake Manor Elementary teachers have attended professional development and conferences to learn about LEGO Education and it's benefits.  We are eager to get these materials, most known for common creative play in many households, into our classrooms.  We want to transform the common play into a hands on educational tool that promotes the necessary fundamental learning skills of the 21st century all of our students will need to succeed.
