Our Spirit Sprint (aka. jog-a-thon) is our primary fundraiser for Woodway Elementary this school year. The best thing about this particular fundraiser is that our school gets to keep 100% of the profits earned (95% of online donations), as opposed to only a percentage of sales from product or food fundraisers. The funds we raise each year go directly back to the school to provide for class field trips, class t-shirts, teacher appreciation and luncheons, cultural arts events, red ribbon week, and much more. We wouldn't have these things without your support!
We are thrilled to announce that we will begin a new tradition with a Spirit Sprint on Friday, October 12th. Our hope is to encourage fun physical activity while raising funds for our school! The event will take place during the school day. Each student will participate with their peers in running, jogging, or walking on our track for a goal of 5 laps or more while raising at least $50 to exceed the PTA’s goal of $20,000. They will also participate in an obstacle course.
