Community spirit is the bedrock of Midway ISD, and at Castleman Creek Elementary, we firmly believe in the power of community and its ability to support, rally around, and cheer on the individuals that make it up, and we need your help. For the past two years, we have put on the Purple Panther SMAsh Dash 5K, a benefit raising money and awareness around Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), and we are so excited to be bringing it back for a third year. Two members of our Midway Community have children suffering from this cruel disease, and we are rallying around them in solidarity to show our support and help with the cause. Come decked out in your craziest purple and help us SMASH SMA! 

100% of our proceeds will go towards the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing researchers the funding necessary to help find a cure.
