The annual food drive is one of Hersey's biggest philanthropic undertakings, and thanks to our community, we have collected record amounts of food the past few years that has helped others experiencing difficult times.  Donated funds go towards purchasing gift certificates that are put into our family food boxes, allowing families to purchase perishable items.  Any extra funds are deposited into our Family Assistance Fund and used throughout the year.
